Terms And Conditions
Online orders are processed within 24 hours and shipped to you within 5-10 business days. You will receive an order confirmation via email at the time of your order and you will receive a shipping confirmation at the time that the shipping label is created.
Delivery takes place within 1-3 days following your shipping label email.
Open your package upon reception and inspect it. If the package is damaged you must refuse it in order for us to replace it.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to manufacturing defects, you may return it within 7 days of receiving your order and we will exchange it free of charge.
Refusal to take delivery at time of shipment will not be tolerated. Any costs incurred will be buyers responsibility.
Unless otherwise agreed, we may dispose of stored goods after a period of 3 months, without any prior notice or compensation.
All sales are final even if the product has not been shipped. All our products sold online are custom made according to your preferences and sizing and cannot be used for resale.
Claims cannot be allowed after hanging, for faults that should have been noticed before installation.
No claims will be allowed for labor costs.
Returns are only accepted for instances where you have received a defective product and must be returned within 7 days. Your order has been custom printed specifically for you and can not be used for resale.
For international shipments:
When ordering from IDCA inc., you’re responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.
When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Graphics, Artwork and Print
Print colors are not guaranteed. Monitors use RGB color and printers use the CMYK printing process (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). You can view your image on different screens and color will vary from one screen to another. Unfortunately, you can not rely on your screen as an accurate representation for printed color. If you are unsure of the color, please ask for a printed sample ($49.95 including shipping) before placing your order.
Artwork and graphic design are not included in the price of printing nor is installation or modification.
Additional costs to change or modify typography and graphics are the customer’s responsibility .
There may be instances where sections of your wallpaper image is blurred or pixelated all depending on the design focal point of the image (how the photo was taken and what filters where used to achieve the final result).
We can not be held responsible for spelling or grammar mistakes in your files or documents. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify this information.
We are not responsible for non-compliant files and the additional costs for production and time delays these may incur.
Measurements provided by customers are not IDCA’s responsibility and therefore are not guaranteed.
50 % deposit of funds is required for IDCA to commence any custom work which shall be delivered and installed by our technicians at a later time. The remaining 50% balance must be paid upon reception and-or installation of goods. Orders shipping without installation require 100% payment before leaving our offices.
Installation and Preparation
We can not guarantee the condition of your wall after removal of wallpaper or vinyl application. This greatly depends on the quality of paint and preparation beneath. Also the longer the product is installed the more aggressive the adhesives become thus increasing the risk of paint removal when removing the wallpaper or vinyl.
Projects not performed by IDCA are not guaranteed.
There is no way of knowing before hand if your wall has any deficiencies that may cause the installation process to fail (humidity, defective or low quality paint, not enough primer or paint etc.) IDCA will not be held responsible for these circumstances.
In order to obtain perfect installation results when installing our printed wallpaper with overlapped panels (no vertical cuts on walls required) your wall must have at least 2 coats of latex primer with absolutely no plaster exposed and this two weeks prior to installation.
For installation of our printed wallpaper and/or 20oz. commercial grade wall vinyl with seamless style joints we require that 2 coats of Roman PRO999 RX35 sealer be applied 2 or more days prior to installation (vertical cuts on wall are necessary for seamless joints).
We can not guarantee the installation of our wallpaper products on any material other than properly prepared and painted gypsum walls.
Installation charges may vary depending on the amount you were quoted vs. the total amount finally installed if these quantities differ.
Secured Premises (Condominiums and Gated Communities). Please check with your building management for parking accessibility and delivery times for your installation (such as elevators, service entrances, front desk procedures, etc.). Please inform us if there are special parking needs.
If you have any issues with your installation date and need to reschedule, call us as soon as possible in order to not incur any additional cancellation charges. There will be a $250 penalty fee for any appointment for installation canceled less than 24 hours from the day of the installation.
Painting and Construction (for newly constructed rooms/houses). Be sure all construction is completely closed in with drywall, plaster finish and paint-ready. Allow two weeks for freshly painted areas to dry and cure before the wall covering installation date.
Wall covering installation is a decoration process which is customized to fit the style of your home. As in any decoration process, there is always a chance of unforeseen issues. Some issues cannot be detected until the installation process has begun (i.e. moisture damage, walls with structural damage, etc.). If unforeseen issues are discovered upon the removal of current wall covering, a Change Order may be required and additional charges may apply to the installation.
Removal of Existing Wall covering. If you have elected not to have the installers remove your existing wall covering, you must have this done before the installation (please call us if you wish to add this service)
An adult over 18 years of age with the authority to make decisions must be present at the time of installation.
On-time arrivals. While we strive for punctuality, there might be occasions when our installers will get to the job site at a later time than originally agreed. Please contact the showroom immediately if 15 minutes have passed and our installer has not contacted you.
All information collected by IDCA inc. at the time of order remains private and is used for order purposes ONLY. . Under no circumstance does IDCA inc. share any information. We reserve the right to use your email address to send you emails in regards to order issues, follow ups, promotions and or newsletters.
Payment information is not stored or saved. Only the credit card processing company and Paypal will use and process your payment information. IDCA inc. uses your credit card information via our office payment terminal only in instances whereby your order has been placed over the phone. This information is not stored or saved in our database unless you have provided us with a signed pre-authorization form for payments that need to be collected at later dates, or for reoccurring orders.
